Palak paneer is a popular lunch recipe that is often prepared in a Punjabi household. Both spinach and cottage cheese are loaded with nutrients, making it a healthy meal option. Spinach helps in maintaining blood pressure and cholesterol level, improves digestive system and brain functioning. Paneer is an Amazing source of Protein, Calcium and is considered good for bones.

Ingredients:
Paneer
Palak
Desi Ghee
Green chillies
Diced Onions
Tomato Puree
Ginger& Garlic Paste
Salt
Garam Masala
Kasuri Methi
Cumin seeds
Cloves
Method Of Preparing:
In a big kadai add some desi ghee, let it heat and then add cumin seeds, ginger garlic paste and cloves.
Add onions and sauté till they turn golden brown.
Then add tomatoes. Add some salt and let it cook till the tomatoes become mushy.
Add garam masala, green chillies, dhania powder. Once the spices are nicely mixed add some water until the onions are completely cooked.
Once the onions are properly cooked add the pureed spinach and kauri methi. Mix everything properly and let it cook for about 3-4 minutes.
Add the runner chunks to the gravy and mix well.
Palak Paneer is ready to be served!
